You can read your Google reader where no internet connection.
using Google gears you can make Google reader offline.The procedure is simple first install the Google gears
Google gears is an open source project from google for more info visit "http://gears.google.com/".Google gear is available for windows , linux and mac.


Notice the down arrow with green background at the top-right corner of your google reader as shown in the figure below which indicates Google reader is in online mode.

To make offline just click on the arrow .Google security warning dialog box opens for user permission.

Click allow then Downloading starts for offline content and the indication will be as shown in the figure below.
After completion of downloading the arrow will be changed to blue color and points upwards.the screen shot is given below

Know your Google reader is offline.Enjoy reading feeds in offline and on go.
