..yesterday morning i read a magazine while traveling . In the magazine i found the article about "Space elevator" ,I feel so interesting it is..so, i link to share it with u..may be many of u know it..

Space elevator is just elevator to the space from earth. Imagine How it would be..

here is the technical details..

A space elevator would consist of a cable anchored to the Earth's surface , reaching into Space. By attaching a counterweight at the end , inertia ensures that the cable remains stretched taut, countering the gravitational pull on the lower sections, thus allowing the elevator to remain in geostationary orbit .
